Julie Bragg

Julie is an Emmy Award winning news anchor at WTVR CBS 6 in Richmond, Va. She has spent almost 30 years as a journalist in Virginia, working at stations in Richmond, Roanoke, and Martinsville. Over the course of her career, she has anchored, reported, produced, and even hosted local talk shows.

Julie was only 15 when she first stepped into the television studios at WTVR. She was chosen to be one of Channel 6’s “For Kids’ Sake Ambassadors”. That’s where she reported on her first story and was bitten by the TV bug. She went on to graduate from J.R. Tucker H.S., in Henrico County, and then on to complete her Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication at James Madison University.

She grew up with a great appreciation for the arts. She was a dancer from the age of 4 until she graduated high school. She is passionate about caring for animals and serves on the Board of the Southside SPCA. She also volunteers time speaking to groups to benefit local charities, including the Down Syndrome Association, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, and The Special Olympics, to name a few. She has a teenage son and 3 rescue animals.

Kyle Grinnage

Kyle Grinnage, specializes in Total Self Development. Certified and licensed by the Protocol School of Washington, she presents seminars on business and social protocol, etiquette intelligence and dressing for success. She’s made several appearances on TV and print media as the fashion and image trends expert. A former National Senior Corporate Trainer for BeautiControl, Kyle has trained hundreds of beauty consultants on new business and marketing skills.

As the State Director of the Miss Virginia Teen Volunteer Pageant her main focus is training the Teen titleholder how to be competitive at the national competition by helping to groom them on the inside and out, refine their on-stage talent presentations and answer interview questions in an intelligent, natural and confident manner.

Kyle Grinnage was the 15th Mid-Atlantic Regional Director of Jack & Jill of America, Inc. Later, she served the organization as a charter member of the Five Star Chapter Excellence Committee. There she co-authored several best practices manuals and conducted leadership trainings. Kyle serves her community as the past Chair of The Chesterfield County Career and Technical Education Advisory Council, a Docent at the Virginia Museum of Fine Art, and a member of Links, Incorporated. Formerly, she was a Mega Mentor at Meadowbrook High School, a trustee of the Chesterfield Education Foundation, and a board member of the Virginia Repertory Theater. In her free time, Kyle is an amateur ballroom and Latin dancer.

A native of Brooklyn, New York, Kyle earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing at Long Island University. Since 1990, she and her husband Kym Grinnage have lived in Midlothian, VA. They have two adult daughters, a Son-In-Law, and a most precious grandson.

Taylor Robinson

Mr. Robinson presently resides and is a native Richmond, Va. He currently serves as a Senior Software Development Engineer for the multinational technology company, Intel Corporation. He is also a loving dog dad of 3.

Growing up in Richmond, Taylor was active in the arts community, having studied ballet, the cello, and was a founding member of the Richmond Boys Choir. After graduating from Richmond Community High School in 2005, Taylor went on to receive his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from North Carolina A & T State University in Computer Science with a concentration in Software Engineering. During his 13 years of working with Intel, he resided in California from 2011 to 2022, developing his skills and expertise as a solution architect, helping to create better experiences for developers through producing progressive automations.

Myra Daleng

Myra was the Director of Dance at the University of Richmond for 27 years, where she created the dance program. This program included a dance major/minor and a dance performing company, which brought in major choreographers including Robert Battle, former Artistic Director of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Ms. Daleng now is recognized as Director of Dance Emerita. The position at U of R included teaching classes in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, choreography, dance history, kinetics for dancers, and serving as Artistic Director for the University Dancers, which included creating dance works for the company. She also choreographed numerous musicals for the Department of Theatre and Dance. Before her career at U of R she was Artistic Director and Proprietor of Richmond Dance Center and Co-Director of Richmond Ballet Contemporary. She was a principal dancer with the Richmond Ballet Civic Company, Virginia Dance Company, competed in ballroom dance, and performed in numerous musicals.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in dance from the University of Maryland and then went on to receive a Master of Science in dance from James Madison University. Ms. Daleng received a University of Richmond Distinguished Educator Award in 2010 and in 2011, was the recipient of the Theresa Pollak Lifetime Achievement Award for excellence in the arts. Upon retiring from the University of Richmond in 2013, Ms. Daleng became an Artistry Certified teacher of BeMOVED(trademark), an adult dance fitness methodology. She has served as an adjudicator for the Kings Dominion Dance Festival and for the past nine years an adjudicator and teacher for the West Virginia Dance Festival.

Shelbie Baird

Shelbie has worked at Ellman’s Dance Boutique since 2014 and currently serves as a manager. She holds both a Bachelor and Masters of Science degree from Stevenson University and VCU, respectively.

She received training and performed with the Concert Ballet of Virginia for many years, under the direction of Scott Boyer. She also received training from Tiffany’s School of Dance, West End Academy of Dance, Fred Astaire (Richmond), Emmanuel Pierre-Antoine Studios and more. While at Steveson University, she performed in many productions. Some of her featured roles were in Cabaret, Finding Florence, and A Vision of Musical Theater. Along with performing, she has been Stage Manager for many university productions. Most recently she was Assistant Stage Manager for Saint Gertrude H.S production of CINDERELLA. Shelbie also enjoys teaching pop-up musical theater classes, choreographing, and enjoying performances as an audience member.

Katie Kraft

Katie’s passion for photography is rooted in her love for storytelling and her keen eye for detail. She believes in the power of a photograph to freeze a moment in time, creating lasting memories for her clients. Whether she’s working with families to capture their unique dynamics, helping high school seniors celebrate milestones, or photographing the elegance of dancers in motion, Katie brings warmth, creativity, and professionalism to every session.

Beyond her work, Katie is a devoted wife and mother to three beautiful daughters. Her family, including their beloved Goldendoodle, is her greatest source of inspiration. Her personal experience as a mother helps her connect deeply with her clients, especially when working with children and families. Katie’s work is characterized by a natural light-filled aesthetic, and her sessions are known for being relaxed and enjoyable, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera. With a portfolio that speaks for itself, Katie Kraft continues to make a significant impact on the Richmond photography scene, capturing moments that her clients will cherish for a lifetime.

Kim Moncrief

Founder, CEO & Artistic Director of Miracles In Motion, has a BFA in Dance and Choreography along with a BS in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. She began her dance career at the School of Richmond Ballet when she was 8yrs old where she received intensive training until graduating from High School. She has been formally trained in a variety of dance styles including: Classical Ballet and Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Acrobatics, Theater, Cheerleading, African-Caribbean, Improvisation, and Yoga.

Kim has traveled the U.S. teaching and choreographing on dancers of all levels and abilities, primarily focused on the competitive circuit. Her strength for directing was apparent early in her career where she quickly received positions as, Assistant Artistic Director and Ballet Director within the studios she was employed. Since 1994 Kim has trained and choreographed on a variety of competitive dance groups, Varsity and Junior Varsity Pom Squads, show choirs, and pageant contestants. Her choreography has won many notable awards including, “Grand Champion”, “Best Choreography”, “Best in Show”, and “Best Marching Unit.” Kim’s notable performance experience is with Richmond Ballet, Optasia Production Company, Heartbeat Production Company, and as a 6-year member of Kingdom Dance Company.

In 2004 she married John Moncrief and in 2006 they had their first precious child, Logan, who was born with Down Syndrome. In 2007, Kim created Miracles In Motion. Her vision was to create a dance family for dancers with special needs…a place to receive quality dance instruction and to shine! Her vision has been successful and grown quickly in size and popularity. Kim holds Miracles In Motion close to her heart and feels like she has found the biggest reward in her dance career.

Since the start of Miracles In Motion, Kim and John also have beautiful boy/girl twins. All of their children are her constant inspiration! The Moncrief family proudly owns Moncrief Management LLC, which includes their family business “The Ice Cream King”. Along with directing Miracles In Motion, Kim is also the director of “Rise Up!” Dance Company. She also teaches and choreographs part time at School of Dance Arts.

Margaret Thompson

After 20 years in marketing account management, pulling all the pieces of a project together and providing a seamless experience for her clients, Margaret launched Richmond Family Magazine in 2009, still pulling all pieces together, but ending with a beautiful magazine that can picked up at over 850 locations all over Richmond, Virginia. RFM inspires, enlightens, informs, and entertains families with articles in each issue that are relevant, timely, and meaningful to their daily lives, as well as the most comprehensive area events calendar in print, that offers something for Richmonders of all ages. The magazine is supplemented with additional website content, a weekly email newsletter, and active and uplifting social media channels.

Margaret has always loved connecting people with resources, whether it’s setting up friends on a blind date, assisting with a job, car, puppy, vacation home search, or gathering neighbors together for social activities, so providing this resource for her community has been the perfect fit for Margaret.

Margaret graduated from Hermitage H.S. and The College of William and Mary. She was given the 2012 Rising Star Award by the Richmond chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). Margaret and her husband Chris live in Hanover County with their two teenage sons and two sibling dogs.

Will Nichols

Will Nichols, is a seasoned automotive professional.

With over 2 decades of experience in business management and developing sales professionals. He is currently the general manager for both Crossroads Ford of Prince George and Crossroads Chrysler Jeep, Dodge Ram. Will loves to travel and is always excited to try new things. In his free time he loves to work with his hands and especially enjoys woodworking for the simple joy of taking a vision and bringing it to reality and of course he loves the idea of a Sharp dressed man.

You might know him from his commercials where he always closes with the expression “don’t tell me what you can’t do just tell me what you can do”.
